Description

This project is a Request for Proposals to provide Urban Forestry training and placement for students at the Pine Knot Job Corps Center, McCreary County, Kentucky and for students at the Ouachita Job Corps Center, Garland County, Arkansas. The Job Corps provides young adults the necessary job training which enables them to gain meaningful employment upon graduation. The proposed project includes the training and placement of students involved in the Urban Forestry program as well as the supply and maintenance of training equipment/materials. Pine Knot Job Corps Center is located 3 miles south of Whitby City, Kentucky, on Highway 27. The Center is located on the right side of the Highway. Ouachita Job Corps Center is located 15 miles West of Hot Springs, Arkansas, on Highway 270. Follow signs to the Center. The performance period for the proposed contract is for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The proposed contract is available under full and open competition.
