Description

Contractor to provide one Licensed Psychiatrist Services at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, 1700 Vegas Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada in the areas of inpatient and oupatient Psychiatric Mental Health Clinic. The Psychiatrist Services will be required to augment in house VA staffing shortages on an as-needed basis. The contract health care provider shall cover the range of services normally provided in a similar civilian health care facility. Psychiatrist shall be Board Certified with clinical experience working with the adult population. The selected Psychiatrist must pass the Medical Center credentialing process,including no adverse actions noted on the National Practioner Data Bank. Psychiatrist will be required to utilize the electronic medical record and other computer programs. The anticipated contract period is October 01, 2001 -- September 30, 2002, with (1) one year option to extend. The associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS)code is 621112.
