This solicitation was originally posted on May 10, 2001. The scope of work and the specifications were modified. Please review the solicitation package for the details at: http://vaww.va.gov/ Veteran Affairs, Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS), located at 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA., intends to award a contract for the procurement of commercial tree services including: tree and/or stump removal, pruning, cabling, removal and disposal of resulting waste and debris for the VAPAHCS on a one-time basis. The contractor shall provide all supervision, professional advice/guidance, labor, parts, materials, equipment, and personnel, to provide these services. Palo Alto Division: There are seven (7) trees require to be removed. Twenty (20) trees that require pruning and one (1) tree that requires cabling. Menlo Park Division: There are Ninety-two (92) trees require to be removed and Ninety-six (96) trees that require pruning. Livermore Division: There are Fifty-four (54) trees to be removed. Three (3) trees that require pruning. Note: There will be a site visit at all three (3) VAPAHCS Divisions. The site visit schedule is Menlo Park on July 12, 2001(all day); Livermore in the morning of July 13, 2001 and Palo Alto in the afternoon of July 13, 2001. We strongly recommend that all offerors participate in these site visits.
