Description

A solicitation will be issued for Shield, Flight Deck and Shield, Flight Deck, Back as an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract (IDTC) with the following quantities: FRONT: 28,705 Ea MIN; 40,000 Ea MAX/ BACK: 30,502 Ea MIN; 40,000 Ea MAX with four (4) Mandatory Term Option for FRONT:20,000 Ea MIN/40,000 Ea MAX and BACK: 20,000 Ea MIN/40,000 Ea MAX. Military Specification MIL-H-81735B dated 30 July 1992 and Pattern Date 14 Mar 1994 are applicable. NSN(s) are as follows: FRONT: 8415-00-178-6855(s)/ BACK: 8415-00-178-7013(s). Twelve (12) deliveries are required beginning 150 days after date of award and every thirty days thereafter. All materials are to be contractor furnished. See numbered notes 1, 9, 13 and 26. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The destinations for the subject item are Defense Depot Tracy, CA and Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. Best Value/Source Selection procedures will be utilized in making an award. Evaluation factors are as follows in descending order of importance: 1) Past Performance and 2) DLA Mentoring Agreement. Solicitation date closing of August 13, 2001 is estimated.
