Description
The US Army Soldier Biological and Chemical Command, Soldier Systems Center (SBCCOM-SSC) PM-Soldier Support, Natick, MA. is conducting a market research to determine if commercially available container systems exist that meet the essential performance characteristics specified in the Army Authorized Stockage List Mobility System (ASLMS) Operational Requirements Document. The Army has a need to containerize divisional supply support activities' spare parts and bulk material. The intent is to use American National Standards Institute/International Organization for Standardization (ANSI/ISO) 8-foot by 8-foot by 20-foot containers individually or containers configured together not to exceed these dimensions as the outer storage container. The internal spare parts containers will be a mix of standardized modular drawer, cabinet, bin shelf and high security storage systems. The bulk storage containers will have adjustable racks and hazardous material spill containment storage systems. More information on desired capabilities may be found at website www3.natick.army.mil/Business Opportunities/Upcoming Acquisitions/W13G07ASLMS01 or by calling the above listed POC. Proprietary information will not be disclosed outside the U.S. Government. Information provided will be used to determine availability of commercially existing containers or to develop specific requirements for parts storage containers. All interested firms, regardless of size are encouraged to respond to this request for information. This is only a market survey, not a pre-solicitation notice. A pre-solicitation notice will be published if a formal solicitation is generated. No awards will result from this market survey. Respondents should submit their brochures, technical data, or other information concerning performance and cost within 30 days of this publication. Responses should be directed to the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center, ATTN: AMSSB-PM-RSS-SP(N) (L. Socha), Bldg. 5, Room S-145, Natick, MA 01760-5018 or facsimile to (508) 233-5379, ATTN: (L. Socha) or email to: Leon.socha@natick.army.mil, referencing market research number W13G07ASLMS01. No solicitation document exists at this time. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only. This is not an invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be taken as a commitment by SBCCOM-SSC.
