Description

The Pacific Northwest Region, Bureau of Reclamation, has a requirement for eight (8) generator package relays and eight (8) transformer differential relays to replace aging electro-mechanical protective relays for the generators and transformers at Palisades Powerplant, 3933 Swan Valley Hwy, Palisades, ID 83428. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be a solicitation for commercial items per FAR Part 12 and will be issued as number 01SQ100610 on 07/12/2001. This requirement is set aside for small business under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 335314. The small business size standard is 750 employees. The relays shall be of the digital, multi functional, microprocessor based type with built-in self diagnostics, local and remote display of relay status, and event record capability. The relays shall be furnished with MS Windows compliant relay/PC MMI communications software and/or firmware. The RFQ will be available only on the Internet at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/ecprod/owa/ecmenu$.firstcount/ beginning on the issue date of 07/12/2001. Hard copies of this RFQ will not be available.
