Description

This action amends the notice originally published in the CBD on May 2, 2001. Amendment 1 to this notice adds the following in Clause 7.3 after paragraph 1: Two or more firms may jointly form a legally organized partnership/joint venture and enter into a contract with the Employer provided they comply with the following requirements: The application provdes certified evidence of such partnership if prequalified which shall be submitted with their Technical Proposal. The partnership agreement shall include a statement that the members of the partnership are jointly and severally bound to the satisfactory execution of the Contract in accordance with the Contract terms. A lead firm, as submitted and accepted during prequalification, shall be nominated as being the Partner-in-Charge of operations and shall provide a Guarantee of Performance and Indemnity on behalf of the partnership. The Partner-in-Charge shall be authorized to incur liabilities and receive instructions on behalf of any of all of the partners and the entire execution of the Contract including payment shall be done exclusively with the Partner-in-Charge. Amendment 2 to this notice will change the due date for recept of the application for prequalification to June 30, 2001.*****
