Description

This project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary to complete hydraulic seeding, fertilizing, and mulching with tackifier. Work will also require furnishing transportation, lodging, operational materials, supervision, and incidental items related to the above work. Actual work areas and amount of work will depend on the number of additive items awarded. The project locations are Prince of Wales Island from the Polk Inlet area north to the areas around Red Bay. Work on the Ketchikan/Misty Ranger Districts will be on the north end of Revillagigdeo Island in the areas of Hassler Island, Klu Bay. Shrimp Bay, and SW Neets Bay. Prince of Wales Island is accessible by boat, floatplane, and the Alaska Marine Highway system at Hollis Ak. Areas of work on Ketchikan/Misty Ranger District are accessible by boat and floatplane as well as commercial barge companies. The contract performance time will be 410 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The estimated price range for this project is $100,000 to $250,000 for the base bid only.
