Description

The specification defines the necessary services, labor, material; control components; engineering and labor necessary to provide completely installed systems ready for operation. The system shall be installed in Building W-143 at the Defense Depot, located at the Norfolk Naval Base, Virginia. The function of the system is to receive binnable material from the north side of the building from the receiving conveyor and transport the receipts to the mini-load cranes on other floors. The system will transport issues from the new HK system mini-load cranes on floors 2, 3 and the old Supreme Mini-Load Cranes on floor 4 to the tilt tray sorter system for packing on the second floor in cell G and to the existing Automatic Weigh and Offer System (AWOS) in Bays various other bays on Floor 1.
