Description

All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)- 2001 models, Coeur d Alene River Ranger District, Fernan Station, Coeur d Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation RFQ R1-04-01-44 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 421110. A quotation is requested for one (1) line item described as follows: 4 each -- 2001 models -- All Terrain Vehicles, Engine 400 cc to 450 cc. Air cooled, four stroke. Transmission, electric-shifting, five speed with reverse and ultra low range. Independent front suspension, Rear Brakes Sealed Drums. The following equipment is to be traded in as part of the solicitation: Please indicate the amount that will be credited for each of these four machines: 1991 Polaris 350L; 1991 Polaris 350; 1989 Suzuki 250; and 1993 Yamaha 400. Required delivery of equipment no later than July 15, 2001 to: Henry Nipp, Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Coeur d Alene River Ranger District, Fernan Station, 2502 East Sherman Avenue, Coeur d Alene, Idaho. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The contract award will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering price, past performance, and technical capability. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercials Items. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
