Background "17. PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Project Number ZHTV010017A/ ZHTV010017R, Solicitation Number F33601-01-R-0040. Period of performance will be from award date through 30 September 2001 with four-one year options periods. SIC:1721/NAIC: 23521, SIZE STANDARD $7M.Contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to provide pavement markings for Wright-Patterson AFB, OH roads and airfield in accordance with project No. ZHTV010017A/ ZHTV010017R. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
