Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items = prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented = with additional information included in this notice.=20 The solicitation number is F31610-00-Q0309 and is issued as a request = for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated = provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition = Circular 97-16. The North American Industry Classification System = (NAICS) Code is 336211 (for coding purposes only) and the small = business size standard is 1,000 employees for this acquisition. This = action will be pursued on an unrestricted basis. This procurement consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, = supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary for the = manufacture and the delivery of a Fire-Rescue Emergency Support Vehicle = for Seymour Johnson AFB, NC in accordance with the specifications. =20 The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, = Instruction to Offerors ? Commercial; Offers shall submit the following = pricing information: (1) Price of lease to own truck for 5 years with = annual payments, and a end of lease buy-out price of one dollar. = Note: Down payment will be made at time of acceptance and four (4) = additional payments equal to down payment will be made annually. At = the end of five (5) year lease period, apparatus shall become property = of the Fire Department for the additional payment of one dollar. (2) = Offerors are to include how many days until the truck can be delivered = after notice of award, any warranty information, maintenance agreement = provisions, and any descriptive literature, which details = specifications of truck being offered in accordance with the bid = specifications.
