Description

Laundry Services for Bremerton Naval Hospital and several small clinics in the Kitsap County Area. The nature of the work required by the proposed contract will require close liaison. The contractor's facility in which the majority of the work under the contract is performed must be located within a commuting distance of 70 miles. The facility must have adequate buildings or equipment sufficient for performance of the work required. There is a 24 hour turn around period for laundry services. The laundry vehicle cannot have soiled laundry comingled with clean laundry for the Hospital and clinics. Period of Performance shall be for one year starting 01 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002. Inspection and acceptance @ destination. Single award for all items. This will be a web-posted solicitation. The solicitation will be posted to NECO website: Http://www.neco.navy.mil. No hard-copy solicitation or amendment documents will be distributed by the Government. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendment thereto. Subsequent amendments to the solicitation, if any, will be promulgated ONLY via the NECO website. Because this is a web-posted solicitation, a Solicitation Mailing List is not maintained by the Government. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the referenced web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that any amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance.
