Description
Sources sought for services to provide Linguists, Supervisors, = Program Manager, Systems Analysts I and II, Data Librarian, and = Clerical support to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)in various = DEA locations Nationwide under various contract vehicles including but = not limited to ID/IQ contracts and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). = It is anticipated that solicitations will be issued under which both = multiple awards and single awards will be made. All awards will be for = all contract line items for one single field division. Dea has fifteen = field divisions currently without contracts . Most work will be = performed on government site. Linguists must possess both native = language and english language skills. The primary language is Spanish = with Mexican, Columbian, Puerto Rican dialects. Other languages = include but not limited to Russian, Arabic Hebrew, Patois, Creole and = Vietnamese. Linguists must possess basic computer skills. Awards for = partial contract line items will not be executed. In some locations = blanket purchase agreements may be established with as many as three = (3)separate vendors. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify = both large and small businesses interested in being Prime Contractors = or Subcontractors. Dea security clearances are required for all = contract employees working under these contracts/bpas. Awards will be = made under best value selections. Coverage may be required for 7 = days/week, 3, 8 ? hour shifts per day. Services are to support Title = III consensual and non/consensual wire taps. Systems Analysts needed = to support electronic communications equipment/computer system hardware = and software. Responses are due by June 12, 2001.
