Description: This announcement constitutes a Notice of Contract Action Synopsis. The government intends to establish a competitively awarded, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to the bidder who provides the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable offer in accordance with FAR 15.101-2 and AFFAR Supplement 5315.101-2. A five year period of performance is anticipated. This is in support of the A-10 Aircraft, the facilities of the successful bidder shall be within 400 radius miles of Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. The schedule will identify Firm Fixed Priced and Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract line items. The contemplated contract will provide Depot In-Theater Maintenance Assistance. The tasks will include modification installations, structural upgrades, depot repair, over and above, drop-in maintenance, de-paint and paint, crash damage repair, wing stations inspections and repair, and Analytical Condition Inspections (ACI). Interested bidders may identify their company in response to this notice. This notice of intent is intended to be a request for competitive proposals.
