Description

Provide all necessary Architect / Engineer services for the design of the minor construction project 630-403, Upgrade Wards C3 / D3 at the VAECC, St. Albans, New York. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following items: (1) prepare complete working drawings and specifications including demolition, architectural, plumbing, mechanical and electrical drawings. (2) Provide the services of a C.I.H. for the preparation of Asbestos Abatement drawings, and air monitoring services. (3) Provide a detailed cost estimate. (4) Provide space programming, conceptual layout, schematics and construction document design reviews. (5) Provide construction period services for shop drawing review and technical assistance. (6) Provide site visits for construction inspection. (7) Provide as-built drawings upon completion of the construction phase, from contractors marked up originals. Design completion time is 120 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is $2,000,000.00 & 5,000,000.00. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541310. Interested A/E firms shall submit SF 254'S & 255's to Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468, Business Services Center, attention Rosa M. Asencio. All SF 254's & 255's are due by closed of business on 7/5/20001. Award is subject to availability of funds. This is not a request for proposal.
