Description

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration = (SAMHSA), Office of Communications and External Liaison, Center for = Substance Abuse Treatment (OCEL/CSAT), through the ADP Acquisitions = Branch, Program Support Center (PSC) intends to award a sole source = acquisition to Teen Challenge of Southern California, Inc. in = Riverside, CA. for the National Alcohol and Drug Addition Recovery = Month 2001. The community-based events shall be an integral part of = SAMHSA/CSAT's 12th annual National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery = Month. The effort is for the provision of outreach to adolescents and = teens in the conduct of community-based events for Recovery Month 2001 = celebration. This proposed requirement for which the Government = intends to solicit only one source is under the authority of FAR = 13.106-1(b). Interested concerns may identify their interest and = submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to = provide the services required. Information received will normally be = considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a = competitive procurement. This notice is not a request for competitive = proposals. No solicitation is available; therefore, requests for such = document will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the = Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within = the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative responses are = received, the Contracting Officer will proceed to issue a purchase = order to Teen Challenge of Southern California, Inc. Responses must be = in writing and refer to 01M008722 to the attention of Diane Coger. See = Note 22. =20
