Description

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration = (SAMHSA), Office of Communications and External Liaison, Center for = Substance Abuse Treatment (OCEL/CSAT), through the ADP Acquisitions = Branch, Program Support Center (PSC) intends to award a sole source = acquisition to the National Asian Pacific American Families Against = Substance Abuse (NAPAFASA) in Los Angeles, CA. for Recovery Month 2001. = The community-based events shall be an integral part of SAMHSA/CSAT's = 12th annual National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. The = effort is for the provision of outreach to the Asian American and = Pacific Islanders (API) communities in the conduct of community-based = events for the 2001 celebration and for the development of language = appropriate public education materials for Recovery Month. This = proposed requirement for which the Government intends to solicit only = one source is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested = concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement = that demonstrates their ability to provide the services required. = Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose = of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This = notice is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is = available; therefore, requests for such document will be considered = invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete = this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the = Government. If no affirmative responses are received, the Contracting = Officer will proceed to issue a purchase order to NAPAFASA. Responses = must be in writing and refer to 01M008719 to the attention of Diane = Coger. See Note 22. =20
