Description

Provide and deliver directly to patients' residences a wide range of selected medical/surgical products, as ordered by the VA Consolidated Mail Outpatient (CMOP) facilities. Potential contractors will be required to establish a commercial agreement with existing Federal Government contractors to acquire the medical/surgical products for inventory and sell to the CMOPs. Contractor shall sell medical/surgical products at already established Government prices plus an administration fee for maintaining inventory and mailing products to patients. Contractor shall be capable and able to interface with existing computer systems, at the various CMOP locations within the United States, for electronic ordering, billing and submissions of specified reports. The solicitation will be posted electronically at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp.htm on or about the issue date, June 18, 2001. Request for copies of the solicitation from the contracting officer must be received in writing. Companies who have responded to the Souces Sought notice dated May 7th, are not required to respond to this notice.
