17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items = prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented = with additional information included in this notice. This announcement = constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a = written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ = 01Q0020 will be issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitation = document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect = through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. The NAICS code is 33599. = The U. S. Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for four (4), Model = 375C-33297, Mil-Pac with Salco radios and three (3) Model 300B-33450 = Mil-Pac with Salco radio. The government intends to award this = requirement on a brand name sole source basis to Southwest Microwave, = Inc. The contractor shall deliver this requirement FOB Destination with = all freight included in the delivered price, within eleven (11) weeks = of contract award. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price = purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quotation, conforming = to the solicitation as provided herein, is lowest in price.
