Description

NAVSEA Indian Head Division has a requirement for Firing Pin Housings per Drawing # 5184326 Revision E. The contract will be awarded for a base and four one-year options. The base year quantity is for 2,000 each and option years I through IV require quantities of 380 each. The inspection and acceptance will be at NAVSEA Indian Head Division. The delivery schedule: Base Year: 150 days following award of contract. If Option Years I through IV are exercised, delivery will be 90 days from the date the option is exercised. This item is on the Indian Head Qualified Bidders List (QBL). To be considered for award, all potential offerors must be approved in accordance with the Indian Head QBL Qualification Plan. Note: QBL qualification could require a substantial initial investment or an extended qualification time. The award of this contract will not be delayed to allow for additional time to qualify. See Note 1, 100% Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 332993 with a size standard of 1,500 employees, and the FSC/SVS code is 1377. Approximate issue date of this solicitation is 16 July 2001.
