Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure engineering and engineering management support services for the AN/USM-449 Automatic Test System (ATS) in support of U.S. Navy P-3 Aircraft Avionics. This requirement includes the procurement of repairs, system inspection, testing and evaluation, technical and engineering documentation, drawings, technical publication reviews, test plans, configuration audits, Engineering Change Proposals, (ECPs), and engineering training courses. This procurement is in support of the Naval Aviation Depot (NADEP) Jacksonville, Florida. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to establish a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) on a sole source basis with AAI Engineering Support Incorporated, P.O. Box 1108, Hunt Valley, MD 21030-1108, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. AAI/ESI is the original designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the AN/USM-449 Automatic Test System (ATS) and is the only source with the computer software necessary to satisfy this requirement.
