Description

The Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (PHD, NSWC) intends to issue a solicitation for a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinte Quantity Type Contract for Type 6 Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) Blankets. A current U.S. Secret Clearance and appropriate facilities clearance is required. Foreign companies are advised that in accordance with the National Disclosure Policy, the information involved for full performance of the required contracting effort is not releasable to foreign entities unless procedures are in place to negate foreign involvement. Type 6 Blankets will be purchased using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), after the evaluation of offers received in response to Request For Quotation (RFQ) N63394-01-T-0216 that was issued on 18 May 2001. The Type 6 RAM Blankets will be used for evaluation purposes and the subsequent contract award resulting from this solicitation. Only those companies that submitted proposals in response to RFQ N63394-01-T-0216, dated 18 May 2001, will be eligible to submit proposals in response to this solicitation (N63394-01-R-1248). A solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and hard paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The unclassified portions of the solicitation will be available on PHD NSWC web-site at; http://www.phdnswc.navy.mil/procurements on or about 18 June 2001.
