Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF06-01-T-0093 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This will be a 100% small business set aside (NAICS: 339920 size standard 500). Responses should be quoted in accordance with the following: CLIN 0001 IN-LINE HOCKEY RINK: The size will be approximately 184' x 84' with 20' radius. The court will have 2 doors. The court will have walls that can handle the use of large soldiers and frequent use, in addition the walls must stand up to UV Rays and stay colorfast with heavy use. The court will have an upper containment device, made of netting, that extends 6' above the court to provide 10' total containment. Court will include 2 official goals. The court must be designed for multiuse. Rink walls and supports must be designed to be non-permanent structures. The support structure will be anchored by filling it with water, sand or staked so that it will be easily drained and removed. The court must be in sections, compatible to moving and storage in a shed during times when the court is being used for other events. Rink system must designed for the layperson to install. Government Maintenance personnel will be trained to install and remove the rink per the purchase contract. Warranty: Provide with quote-standard commercial warranty information. Delivery will be to Central Receiving Point, Bldg 330, Fort Carson, CO 80913 by 15 July 2001. Delivery will be FOB Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions are applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their offers a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (02/2000) is hereby incorporated by reference, the following clauses are applicable and incorporated by reference: 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities, 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era, 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities, 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party.
