Description

The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sunset Laboratory for the OECA Analyzer (Organic/Elemental Carbon Analyzer)with components: Quartz Sample Oven, FID Methanator Oven, Electronics and Analog/Ditital Conversion Interface Board Valve/Flow sensor unit, Embedded CPU controller Board, Spare Parts Operator, Service and Maintenance Manuals. NOTE: This is a specialized piece of instrumentation developed and manufactured ONLY by Sunset Laboratory. Statutory authority for this acquisition is FAR 6.302-1, "only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements". This notice is not a request for proposals. However, any firm desiring consideration is required to fully identify their interest and demonstrate their capabilities, in writing, within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis to Katheryn Hampton at the above address. All responses must clearly identify oferor's ability to provide the required equipment. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bonafide capability to meet the requirements. It is requested that a pricing data be included as part of the response, including terms and conditions. Failure to submit a complete documentation will result in the Government proceeding as stated above. No solicitation documents are available. Simple request for an RFP will not be considered an affirmative response to this synopsis. The Government reserves the right not to compete this requirement based on an evaluation of responses received as a result of this notice. No telephone request accepted. See Note 22.*****
