Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS is 421450. Prospective offerors are required to submit written or faxed quotations. The South Texas Veterans Healthcare System (STVHCS), Audie L. Murphy Division, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, Texas 78229 has a requirement to purchase twelve (12) free standing combination concealed toilet fixtures and countertop lavatorys, Model M4010/4012-L/R-E600-LFN-DLF-1-2-3-4-N4-VF-BY manufactured by Whitehall Manufacturing or equal. Ten (10) units are to be back wall outlet mounted and two (2) units are to be side wall mounted. Specifications are as follows: 24" deep x 40" wide x 36" height to countertop. Cabinet frame shall be heliarc welded, Type 304, stainless steel, and shall not require wall support. Cabinet doors shall feature a rounded corner and panels shall be stain-resistant, melamine laminated wood. Color selection is Champagne. Door on toilet side shall be linked to toilet so that when door is opened or closed, the toilet will swivel accordingly. Door on lavatory side shall be provided with a toilet paper holder. Doors shall support a 250-pound static, vertical load. Front panels shall hinge open for access to valves and piping. Cabinet shall provide front toe space. Counter shall be stain-resistant laminate finish with a 3" backsplash. Horizontal bullnose front and built-in seat. The "modified" lavatory shall be fabricated of 14-gauge stainless steel, and inside dimensions of bowel shall measure 19"x 16" x 6" deep. Lavatory shall be self-rimmed, factory installed and caulked, and furnished with 10" rigid gooseneck deck-mounted infrared sensor-operated valve (-SO) faucet. Unit shall be furnished with a water valve, transformer with cord, solenoid, sensor module, and thermostatic mixing valve with check stops. P-trap and " NCT wheel handle angle stops shall be furnished. Toilet shall be stainless steel, elongated, siphon jet type and shall flush in any position along the arc of movement. Toilet shall withstand a loading of 2500 pounds without permanent damage. Toilet seat shall have self-sustaining check hinge. Unit shall be with lefts/rights and backsplashes. Quotations shall include all warranty information, technical data, etc. Quotations shall be submitted F.O.B. destination. All quotations are to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offer representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with quotation, (a copy of this provision may be requested by facsimile to (210) 617-5255, Attention: Jo Collins).
