Description

The Government intends to acquire MD-500 Inlet Barrier Filter (IBF) assemblies on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U. S. C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The intended source is Westar Corporation, 6808 Academy Parkway East, NE, Building C, Suite 3, Albuquerque, NM 87109-4464. The assembly consists of P/N 102200-101 with 2 each upper filter elements P/N 102400-102 and 2 each front filter elements P/N 1024550-102, to include filter cleaner and lubricating oil. A firm fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract awarded under Part 12 Commercial Items procedures is anticipated. The minimum quantity is 2 assemblies and the maximum quantity is 62 assemblies. The ordering period shall be twelve months from date of contract award. The desired delivery is 60 days ARO. FOB: Origin. Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. The North American Industrial Classification code is 336413. The business size is 1000 employees. This is a DO-A1 rated order. The solicitation number is USZA95-01-R-0030 and is expected to be issued on or about 06/01/01.
