Description

Furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment; and perform all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the construction of the X1100 Transmission Test Facility at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL. In general, the work shall consist of the following but is not limited to: (a) Removal of existing concrete paving, guard posts, and other items as indicated, (b) Modifications to existing overhead steam lines, (c) New concrete slab and paving, (d) New approximately 30' x 40' metal building, (e) Installation of new gutters, downspouts, and flashing, (f) Installation of compressed air piping, steam heaters, local exhaust fans, lighting, and electrical supply. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is: 233310. The size standard is $27.5 Million Estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. One Job. Completion time is 270 days after notice to proceed. THIS PROJECT IS RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ELIGIBLE 8(a) FIRMS WITHIN THE STATE OF ALABAMA. Estimated Invitation for Bid issue date is 14 May 2001. This Solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
