Description

The contractor shall excavate, grade and pave, install curbing and handi-cap ramps and paint parking stalls and cross-walk at location of old CDC building. Paving is approximately 7000 sf. The North American Industry Classification System (NCAIS) is 234110. The size standard is $17.0 million. The estimated cost range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price construction type contract. The procurement will be obtained utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This solicitation is unrestricted-open to large and small business concerns. The period of performance is to commence 1 August 2001 and is to be completed within 45 days. The solicitation (specification and sketch)will be limited to the electronic medium; they will not be provided in a paper hard copy format or cd rom. Registration and downloading from the internet is free of charge; however, some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective quoters are required to register on the Naval Facilities Engineering Command ESOL website for this procurement when specifications become available. Notification of nay changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the internet.
