Description

Wallace Pass Trail #58: Restoration of intermittent segements of 7.35 miles of trail from the trailhead to the top of Wallace Pass. Work includes placing rock rip/rap, waterbar installation, turnpike construction, tread widening, switchback reconstruction, rock blasting rock retaining walls, ditching and check dam installations. Critical work item is the site preparation of hole drilling and cleaning, anchor bolt placement into injection epoxy/adhesive and fastening of treated timber steps to these bolts at critical locations in solid rock. Gallatin NF, Livingston RD, Livingston, Park County, Montana. Work to begin July 9, 2001. Contract time 465 calendar days. Price range between $25,000 and $100,000. Not Set-aside for small business.
