Description

This acquisition is being offered for full an open competition to North American Industrail Classification System (NAICS) code 23561 with a size standard of $11 Million. The project is located at F. E. Warren AFB, WY. The subject requirements project is designed to perform all operations necessary for Maintaining Steel Siding and Paint at Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) and as designated on specific delivery order drawings. The project includes, but is not limited to all labor, materials, equipment and insurance necessary to perform the following tasks: SIDING: Remove/dispose of/install all existing steel gutters, downspouts, steel siding, steel soffits, steel facia and trim, and PAINTING: prep, prime and paint all exterior doors and door frames of both MAF facility and Garage at various locations spanning eight (8) counties, in the states of Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming all located within one hundred fifty (150) miles of F.E.Warren AFB, Wyoming. The work required will be limited to the MAF building, MAF garage and bumper posts at each location. Performance period for resultant requirements construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be one (1) basic year plus one (1) option year. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal -- Price Performance Trade-Off (PPT). When the solicitation package is downloaded it should be read completely as there are milestones that must be met to be considered responsive. The issue date will be on or about 1 June 2001 with a bid opening 30 calendar days after RFP issuance. There will be no pre-announcement of when the solicitation will be available on the Internet.
