Description
NOTE: THIS CORRECTS THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS PROJECT: Contractor to furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete miscellaneous work at U.S. Coast Guard Station, Grand Isle, Jefferson County, Louisiana. Work includes but is not limited to all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to replace existing generator in the existing WPB Building with a new emergency generator together with associated accessories, mechanical and electrical work, provide a new emergency duct bank to the Multi-Purpose Building, work includes repairs to the roof at the generator exhaust stack that is wrapped with asbestos containing building materials. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The performance period is 120 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 233320. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipts of $27.5M or less. There is a charge of $10.00 for the solicitation package and drawings. Bid guarantee, payment, and performance bonds are required. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSBDU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guarantee on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.00.
