Description

This is a sole source procurement IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). An approved justification and approval is on file in Contracting Division. The Huntington District intends to negotiate a contract with the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources for a system-wide cumulative impact assessment for resources affected by recommendations of the Ohio River Mainstem System Study (ORMSS). Special emphasis will be placed upon the influence of fish migration and mobility on fishery resources (including mussels) within the Ohio River system. Studies will include a dedicated, detailed evaluation of inter-pool fish mobility and winter habitat use in the impounded Ohio River.
