Description

Contractor is to furnish miscellaneous operating supplies and paper bags for the commissaries located within the Defense Commissary Agency's European Region. A summary (not all inclusive) of the types of operational supplies required under this solicitation are as follows: plastic t-shirt bags, plastic meat/produce bags, meat trays, meat film, corrugated paper products, freezer paper, catering trays and containers, deli cups and lids, various types of gloves, knives, and paper grocery bags. The contractor will be required to fill the requirement to include the consolidation of the items, make arrangements through a Government point of contact for overseas containers, load the containers, and deliver the filled containers to the port of debarkation. Evaluation of the offers shall be on an "all or none" basis. A Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Requirements Type contract with an Economic Price Adjustment is contemplated. The period of performance will be 1 July 2001 through 30 June 2004 (including two option periods). Within 3 days of this notice the Price History for most of the items will be posted at http://www.deca.mil/business/contracting.cfm. Any requests for business information not posted should be requested under Freedom of Information (FOIA) guidance. The Request for Proposal will be released on or about 21 May 2001. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis.
