Description

1. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District (CENWP) intends to procure static battery chargers for The Dalles and John Day Projects, Oregon. This contract will include the delivery of 8 each 200 Ampere, 125 volt chargers, 4 each 150 Ampere, 125 volt chargers, spare parts, O&M manuals. Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about May 24, 2001. The NAICS is 335999, SIC 3629, FSC 5999. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The intent is to make an award to the lowest priced, technically-acceptable proposal conforming to the RFP. Contractor shall provide (F.O.B. delivery to the project sites) static battery chargers and the spare parts, as per scope of work. Factors to be used to evaluate and select the BEST VALUE contractor are 1) technical compliance with the specifications; 2) past performance, and 3) price. Ensure offers include pricing for each contract line item number (CLIN), technical data sufficient to evaluate the offered product, and past performance information. Past Performance information shall include at least three (3) similar contracts in size/complexity performed over the past three years. Include names, address and contacts for references for the work. Contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for award.
