Description

The contract will be to provide fully Contractor operated and maintained helicopter flight services consisting of one light turbine helicopter (Bell 47 Soloy, Hiller 12E Soloy or equal) in support of the Bureau of Land Management wild horse and burro programs. The helicopter will be based at Rock Springs, Wyoming with an exclusive use period of 139 calendar days beginning July 15 and extending through November 30. The Contractor will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration air carrier and operating specification for the category and class of aircraft required under the contract. And as well will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load Operations. The term of the contract will be one year with options to renew for two additional years. Issue date of the solicitation is scheduled for approximately May 4, 2001 with a proposal due date of approximately 5/29/01.
