Description
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT), plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to Johnson Institute Foundation, St. Paul, Minnesota. The contractor shall provide the technical assistance required to assist faith-based service providers with essential effective intervention/treatment for persons who have abubsed alcohol and drugs. The contractor is uniquely qualified and has historical data required to complete the mission of this project. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
