Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals and or quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular. The Marine Corps Northeast Regional Contracting Office currently has a requirement for: 1 each Telephone System Software Upgraded from MSL07 to MSL12; this project involves installing software in the NORTEL SL-100 telephone switch located in Building 1999 at Marine Corps Base, Quantico VA. This building is located on mainside. The current software load is version MSL-07. An upgrade to software version MSL-12 is required. This upgrade is required to maintain the Marine Corps Base Quantico telephone switching system at reasonably current software configuration. This will prevent the system from becoming outdated and unsupportable, along with providing access to new system enhancements as the manufacturer introduces them. The anticipated completion schedule is 90 days from date of award. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) address is: www.ccr2000.com. As stated above, the due date for all proposals and or quotations is 4 May 2001 by 2:00 PM.
