Description

Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source contract to GAMBRO BCT for the commercial item acquisition of Platelet Plasma, RCB with Filter and Sharps Protection. These products are for use with two (2) government-owned COBE Trima Automated Blood Collection Systems and are specific to that manufacturer. The contract will be for a base period plus three (3) one year option periods. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotations nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
