Description

The US Army TACOM-ARDEC has a requirement to manufacture, test, inspect, package and deliver M929 Smoke, XM1027 Smoke, XM930/M983 Visible Light Illumination/Infrared Illum, M931 Full Range Training Round and the M934A1/M933E1 (High Explosive) 120mm Mortar Shell Bodies. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all equipment, tooling and material (including packaging and palletization materials). The proposed contract will consist of a five year Multi-Year contract to include five options (the last option being for replenishment quantities and available for exercise over a four year period). The total Multi-Year quantities are for 5,820 XM930 Visible Light Illumination/M983 Infrared Illumination, 49,443 M929 Smoke and 155,305 M934A1 High Explosive (HE) 120mm Mortar Ammunition Shell Bodies. The option requirements are as follows: Option I -- 1-25,000 range for M929, 1-17,000 for XM930/M983, 1-32,000 range for M934A1 and 1-25,000 range for M931; Options II, III and IV -- 1-25,000 range for M929, 1-17,000 range for XM930/M983, 1-57,000 range for M934A1 and 1-25,000 range for M931; Option V(replenishment quantity) 1-59,000 range for M929, 1-35,000 range for XM930/M983 and 1-209,000 range for M934A1.
