Description

General Description: The work to be performed in connection with this project includes, but is not limited to the following: construct reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab, masonry walls, structural roof system, utilities and other necessary support, including air conditioning throughout the facility. Also, includes a shower/work area, storage, kitchen, food preparation, work room, toilets, reception area, office area, 30 kennels with animal runs for dogs and cats, exercise yard, customer/employee parking and landscaping. This solicitation is issued is being issued unrestricted. The magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All sources may submit a bid in response to the solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer is responsive and offers the best value to the Government based on price, experience, past performance, and small disadvantaged business utilization. We anticipate issuing this Request for Proposal on or about 23 Apr 01. We will not issue paper copies of this solicitation. We will make the solicitation available on the Electronic Posting System @ http://www.eps.gov.
