Description

The Navy has a requirement for repair of Government owned components of the IP-1515 Combat Support Display System used in support of the EP-3E mission avionics program. It is anticipated that repairs will be made to repairable assemblies and will be priced for repair through October 2003. Data requirements for Quarterly Consumable Parts Bondroom Reports, Quarterly Failure and Analysis Reports, and Monthly Repair Status Reports are also required. It is anticipated that a modification to the current repair contract will be made to revise and extend pricing and include added reports. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, Sanders of Nashua, NH, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own a complete drawing package adequate for competition of the items. Delivery of the repaired items will be required within 90 to 120 days after award of individual delivery orders. Inspection and acceptance will be at source with delivery FOB Origin.
