Description

This notice is an amendment to Notice #50I3Q3 dated 4/5/01. The INL Bureau is requesting offers for the purchase of equipment to be exported to South America. This procurement is a small business set aside. Vendors must contact the Contracting Officer, Ruth Porter, at Fax number 202-776-8775, and request a copy of the specifications for the equipment. The machine to be acquired is Brand Name or Equal to the Wuestec DX 480/2000 X-Ray Machine. (See notice #50I3Q3, noted above). Vendors are also requested to provide in country (in Bogota, Colombia), installation and set up of the machinery, all necessary technical and maintenance support, and are required to service the manufacurer's one-year warranty contract. Vendors are also requested to provide customary training in-country for the equipment to be acquired. (The length of the training will be at least equivalent to that offered in commercial practices in the marketplace for this type of equipment. The ability of the vendor to provide in-country support services will be an evaluation factor in making the award, after conformance with the specifications and prior to price and delivery time required, ARO.
