Description
Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to complete the Correct Airfield Safety Hazards, Phase II at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The work covered by this contract includes, but is not limited to: sitework and clearing of large areas of trees; removing existing structures, pads, transformer, panels, switches, and other items as indicated for the Runway Supervisory Unit (RSU) and Ground Control Approach (GCA) locations; removing and relocating existing structures, pads, transformer, panels, switches, and other items as indicated for the Strobe Control location; providing new power, feeders, terminations, and other items as indicated. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract with 120 days construction performance time. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 235990 with a three-year average annual small business size standard of $7 million. This will be an unrestricted, sealed bid acquisition. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 27 Apr 01 on the Governments Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Please submit any questions regarding the solicitation in writing at the site visit.
