Description

Single award term contract for period beginning September 1, 2001 and ending August 31, 2002, plus up to one 12-month extension period for Department of Commerce (Census Bureau). Production area, assumed 100-kilometer (62-mile) radius of zero milestone Washington, DC. Bidders outside area must furnish documentation of their ability to meet schedule. Copy pickup at Bureau of the Census, Geography Division, Suitland Professional Center, 5001 Silver Hill Rd., Suitland, MD 20233. Approximately 25 orders per year. The quantity cannot be predetermined. Size: 1 067 x 1 524 (42" x 60"). The majority of orders will be for four sizes: 216 x 279 mm (8 x 11"), 559 x 864 mm (22" x 34"), 914 x 1 270 mm (36" x 50") and 1 067 x 1 524 mm (42" x 60"). These specifications for Photographic/Cartographic Services for maps cover the production of high quality film positives and negatives, peelcoats, scribecoats, typesetting, pasteup, dupes, composites, color proofs, and photoprints.
