Description

The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and management necessary to provide maintenance and repair of the Honeywell Direct Digital Control System located on the Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia, to ensure the system is operational at all times. The Contractor shall be responsible for all components in the system such as: computer equipment, software, data transmission equipment and lines, EMCS controller panels, accessory panels, interface devices, electronic/electrical and pneumatic control components, tubing, wiring and all other items that are an integral part of the control system. The contractor shall also respond to service calls on a 24 hour per day 365 days per year basis. The period of performance is for twelve months from the contract start date with four one- to twelve-month option periods. The resulting contract will be a combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. This procurement is a 100% Set Aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 235110. The Small Business Size Standard is $11.5 Million. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-sol) web site on or about 14 May 2001. The Estimated Bid Opening Date (BOD) is 14 June 2001.
