Description

Requirement is for one year and one option year of supplies and services to repair Landing Gear Control Units applicable to the C-130 aircraft. NSN 5930-01-391-8430LG, PN A451M10A. Required delivery 30 days ARO or reparable, whichever is later. Best estimated quantity (BEQ) for the basic year: 10 each; BEQ for option year: 5 each. Electronic End Item Transaction Reporting will be required. Contractor will provide all labor, parts, materials, tools and test equipment necessary to accomplish repairs in accordance with work specification. Solicitation will be available at http://pkec.robins.af.mil on or about 27 Apr 01. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When request4ed, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
