Description

The Bureau of Prisons is seeking a contractor with ability to provide outpatient assessment and counselling services for substance abuse treatment services for male and female Federal offenders in community based programs and home confinement in the Cleveland, Ohio area and near the Oriana House Community Corrections Center at 1829 E. 55th Street in Cleveland, Ohio, held under the authority of various United States statutes. A firm-fixed price requirements contract with a one-year base period and four one-year options is anticipated. Services for the base period of September 4, 2001 through September 3, 2002; Option Year One period September 4, 2002 -- September 3, 2003; Option Year Two Period September 4, 2003 -- September 3, 2004; Option Year Three Period September 4, 2004 -- September 3, 2005; and Option Year Four Period, September 4, 2005 -- September 3, 2006 shall include services for approximately 175 inmates as follows: intake assessment (one per inmate), individual counselling (48 -- 30 minute sessions per inmate), and group counselling (72 half hour sessions per inmate). All services shall be performed in accordance with the Transitional Services Statement of Work "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment" (TDAT), dated November 1999. Proper licensing in the state of Ohio is requured. The estimated issuance date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) is o/a May 6, 2001.
