Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a request for proposal (RFP) numbered F50XPB10890100. The Government intends to negotiate A sole source contracts under the authority of FAR 6.302, with AARDVARK KEITH MOVING, Helotes, Texas, for moving services to disassemble, transport and/or store, and reassemble modular furniture workstations, approximately 450 units. To include disconnect/reconnect electrical power to each unit. Each building will require the removal of debris from the building left after disassembly. Modular furniture will be moved from buildings 308, 73, 1599, 1620 on Kelly Air Force Base, Texas and building 2058, Security Hill, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas. Furniture to be installed in building 178 on Kelly Air Force Base and buildings 2000, 2007 and 2058 on Security Hill, Kelly Air Force Base Texas. Some items will be stored in building 2088 Warehouse on Security Hill. Items will be transported from building 2088 and distributed to buildings 178, 200, 2007, 2058. The Air Intelligence Agency (AIA) wishes to acquire the items indicated herein on an ALL OR NONE basis. Items are to be delivered FOB Destination. Offerors are requested to provide their e-mail address if available. Any discounts are to be applied at the line item level. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The North American Industry Classification System code (NIACS) for this acquisition is 484210, $18.5. This synopsis incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-23. The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability to meet the Government's requirement, price, and delivery date. Technical and Past Performance when combined are less important than price. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their offer.
