Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 10 Apr 01, 2:30 PM PST. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. The Government intends to procure 3 EA Tracker System, Audio Digital. Radio Computing Services Part Number MDL-81T. 8-CHANNEL; INCLUDES; PENTIUM 233-MXX MOTHERBOARD (INTEL 430TX CHIPSET), 19-IN RACK MOUNT HOUSING WITH INTEGRATED 10.4-IN LCD COLOR MONITOR & LOCKING DOOR, 32MB OF DRAM (EDO), 300 WATT POWER SUPPLY, 3.5-IN FLOPPY DISK DRIVE, MICROSOFT MS DOS 6.22 OPERATING SYSTEM, 2 EA NARROW SCSI HARD DRIVES, 104 KEY KEYBOARD AND RACK DRAWER, LINE MIXER RANE MODEL SM-26B, NATURAL MICROSYSTEMS MODEL 8116 VBX-400 AUDIO CARD, NATURAL MICROSYSTEMS MODEL 8064 VBX-100 AUDIO CARD, ADVANTECH MODEL PCL 725 RELAY CARD, SECURITY SOFTWARE, TRACKER SOFTWARE, & WOHLER MODEL WOHAMP-1A AUDIO MONITORING STATION; INCLUDES 5 YEAR HOT SWAP/BUYOUT; PWR RQMTS: 110/220V, 50/60HZ, AUTOSWITCHABLE. The items shall be delivered FOB destination 30 days after receipt of order to the McClellan CA 95650. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the time established for the receipt of proposals will be considered by the Government. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. The following provisions apply to this solicitation and, to the degree applicable, to any resulting contract. The following marking instructions apply: The Contractor shall attach two (2) copies of a detailed packing list in each box or container with unlike items where the full description of the contents is not authorized or cannot be shown. Include one (1) copy of the packing list inside the box or container and attach one (1) copy of the packing list on the outside of the box or container. The outside of the box or container should also include the complete shipping address as provided in the schedule. Marking Instructions: The packing list shall contain the following information: (a) Contract number/Purchase Order number (b) Package number and set number (if any) of the container. (c) A list of the contents which shows the quantity by item, item description, part number, type and size, unit of issue if other than each. The government may not accept items shipped without a packing list especially when the content of the package is unidentifiable; rejected items will be returned at the contractor's expense.
